Mark Saxen, D.D.S., PhD. 

Dr. Mark Saxen received his undergraduate education at the University of Notre Dame and his DDS degree at Case Western Reserve University. He completed a two-year residency in Anesthesiology and earned a PhD in Pharmacology form the Medical College of Virginia/Virginia Commonwealth University in 1993.

Since then he has divided his time between active dental anesthesia practice in the Indianapolis area and academic duties at the Indiana University Schools of Medicine and Dentistry. He is an Associate Professor of Pharmacology in the Department of Oral Surgery and Hospital Dentistry with a joint appointment in the Department of Anesthesia and Pharmacology. He has been a diplomate of the American Dental Board of Anesthesiology since 1996.

Arthur Roberts, D.D.S., M.D.

Dr Roberts was born and raised in Shelbyville, Indiana. His father was a dentist and one of his younger brothers is a dentist. He is married with 4 adult children and lives in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Dr. Roberts has an endless curiosity and after graduation from Indiana University Dental School has more than 16 years formal postdoctoral study at Oxford University, Indiana University, and UHSA.  In addition he has thousands of hours of short courses provided by professional academies, hospitals, medical centers, government agencies and institutes.  Dr. Roberts practiced general dentistry for 32 years prior to limiting his practice to Craniofacial Pain and Dental Sleep Medicine.  He has presented in universities in the United States and Europe.
